Product Type
CD1
Description
PBS-57 is an analogue of a-galactosylceramide developed by Dr. Paul Savage and colleagues. Three independent laboratories have shown that PBS-57 activity is indistinguishable from a-galactosylceramide. The NIH Tetramer Facility provides PBS-57 ligand complexed to CD1d monomers or tetramers. This is the recommended reagent for detection of NKT cells.

Premade CD1

Please note, an unloaded CD1d negative control reagent will be added to all CD1d orders.

The standard CD1d ligand for detection of iNKT cells is PBS-57.

Each unit of quantity contains 200 µg of MHC protein.

The Tetramer Resource Committee (TRC) meets approximately every other Friday to review tetramer requests. Requests must be received before 12 noon EST three days before a scheduled TRC meeting in order to be considered. View TRC Schedule
