Expanded Range of Fluorophores Available In addition to the standard PE- and APC-labeled tetramers, NIH Tetramer Facility clients can now order reagents labeled with the following small molecule fluorophores:

Fluorescein
Alexa 488
Alexa 568
Alexa 647
Alexa 680

Alexa 647 and Alexa 680 are more stable alternatives to the APC label, while labeling tetramers with the green Alexa 488 and fluorescein fluorophores allows for added flexibility in experimental design.

Please note that Alexa 568 requires a flow cytometer with a green laser.
